These skillet fried apples are a delicious treat any time! So, we’re thrilled to share this family favorite recipe thanks to a partnership with sponsor REVERE. Mmmm….don’t those look delicious?! Too bad this isn’t smell-o-vision, because the aroma is absolutely divine while cooking! These are just like the fabulous friend apples you can get at restaurants, much like apple pie without the crust! You just need a few ingredients and a great pan to cook them in. We were recently sent a set of the all-new REVERE Copper Confidence Core Stainless Steel Cookware to try and I really liked them! The apples cooked up SO nicely in them. Aren’t they pretty?! Would you believe I’ve never owned stainless pans before? Crazy right?! But, I really liked them! The set I got is the REVERE Copper Confidence Core Stainless Steel Cookware which gives a nod to the brand’s origins, utilizing a copper disc centered within an aluminum encapsulated base to help heat quicker and more evenly than heavier gauge cookware.I’ve made eggs in the pans now a few times too and really feel like everything cooked quickly & evenly! Another cool feature about the pans is that they have patent-pending ‘Nest&Protect’ interlocking handles that elevate your pans when nested, seemingly floating above each other. So it helps you store them conveniently without scratching, protecting the interior and exterior finish. Really nice! And they’re even oven safe up to 350 degrees! Win! So, the 10-inch pan was perfect for whipping up batch of fried apples for dessert! Now I’m craving these again! So good! And they are SO easy to make! Just a few minutes and a few ingredients…and you have this tasty dessert! Here’s the easy recipe:

  2. They look great! Could you make these and freeze a batch?

    1. Hi Meg,
You totally could. They just might soften a bit more after frozen & reheating. So, maybe undercook them just a bit.

  7. Which apples are best for this?

    Reply

    1. Anything more crisp/sturdy. So varieties like Granny Smith, Honeycrisp, Pink Lady, Fuji, etc. would be best.

  8. Could you use it in apple pie?

    1. Hi Cindy,
I bet you could. It is sort of similar to apple pie filling. Haven’t tried it that way though.

  9. Hypothetically, if I had every ingredient with the exception of the lemon juice, would it still turn out the same?

    Reply

    1. HA! Hypothetically, yes! 😉 The lemon juice can just enhance the flavor a tad and potentially help make the apples less runny. But I really don’t think it would change too terribly much if you didn’t have it.
